Bengaluru: The problems of the BJP government in the state is far from being over. While the government is fighting Corona on one hand, on the other hand, the BSY government has to make sure that the rebel leaders within the party too are ‘silenced’.
The news of a group of MLAs led by leaders Umesh Katti, Basangowda Patil and others having held a meeting recently has caused embarassement to the BSY government.
However, if the sources are to be believed, then the rebel leaders are planning yet another meeting on Wednesday.
As per sources, delay in cabinet expansion, shortage of fund allocation and extreme interference of BSY’s son Vijayendra in the administrative matter are the reasons behind the anger of the group of MLAs.
It is said that during the last meeting, the angry MLAs had also said that BSY must step down from the post of the Chief Minister as the state is being run by a ‘proxy CM’.
On the other hand, Umesh Katti is trying to get a cabinet berth for himself and a MP post for his brother Ramesh Katti. While BSY is not paying much heed to this, Katti is said to have gathered a few MLAs who are irked by the BSY government.
