Bengaluru: Actor-turned-politician Prakash Rai and Mysuru MP Pratap Simha have reportedly decided to resolve the defamation case through the Lok Adalat.
The case, presently being heard at the People’s Representatives court in Bengaluru, was filed by the actor against Simha for making derogatory comments on his personal issues.
It all started in the year 2017, after the murder of Kannada activist and journalist Gauri Lankesh. Rai had questioned the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue and Simha, through a series of tweets, attacked the actor.
Now, however, both Simha and Rai have informed the court that they will resolve the case at the Lok Adalat.
