The SIT has considered this amount as the bribe amount paid to Gangaram Baderiya who was commissioner, mining department when the scam was reported.

According to the sources, in the original FIR filed by the SIT, Gagan’s name was not mentioned. But as the investigation gained momentum, even his role has emerged.
