Bengaluru: The city police have issued notice to gangster turned social activist Muthappa Rai for performing Ayudha Pooja.
A picture of Rai performing Pooja to daggers, revolvers, guns and swords had gone viral on social networking sites. Soon, the city police issued a notice to him asking him to appear before the police to record statement on Friday.

According to the sources, Rai has been given deadline till Saturday noon to present himself with all the weapons and meet the police officers and file an explanation. According to the sources, CCB notices pointed out that public worship of the weapons created tension in the society.
