Bengaluru: Sandalwood actor Mythriya Gowda has been convicted in connection to 2011 police assault case, on Friday.
The Bengaluru magistrate court has awarded two-year-jail term to Mythriya Gowda.
Three others in the case Supriya, Roopa and Rekha have been given one year jail term
Mythriya Gowda had allegedly assaulted a traffic police constable in 2011 for allegedly questioning her for speaking over mobile phone while driving.
Gowda was lately in news for her alleged love affair with former chief ministr and Union Minister for Law DV Sadananda Gowda’s son Karthik Gowda.
