Bengaluru: Shanthi Nagara MLA N A Harris’s son Mohammed Nalapad and gang, which is in jail after its deadly assault on Vidwath, could not get relief from jail even today. After considering his petition for bail, the 1st ACMM Court extended the judicial custody till March 21, which means he has to spend 14 more days in jail.

Mohammed Nalapad attended the hearing through the video conference from Parappana Agrahara jail. Along with him, the judicial custody has been extended to other eight accused as well.

Meanwhile, sources said that the High Court judge came down heavily on Nalapad’s lawyer for his request to consider Nalapad’s bail petition on priority, which was an embarrassment for him.

The Judge of the single-member bench of the High Court Justice Shrinivas Harish Kumar directed to wait till his number comes, as the court conducts the trial in an order.
