Bengaluru: Vidvath, who was assaulted by Mohammed Nalapad and gang on February 17 in a city pub, has sought police protection, following the threat messages and calls from one of the accused. The Sanjaynagar police decided to provide protection for Vidvath and his family.
In his complaint to the CCB police, Vidvath informed that Shrikrishna, accused no 3 in the case has been pressurizing him to go for compromise in the assault case and in this regard he has been sending him messages on Whatsapp.
“I am facing threat to my life,” he informed the CCB police.
Following the complaint by Vidvath, the CCB police directed Cubbon park police to move to court again seeking cancellation of bails of those who are pressurizing Vidvath. Following the complaint, Sanjaynagar police decided to provide security for Vidvath.
