Bengaluru: In a new cheering for cricket fans Namma Metro has decided to run additional trains and extended services till 1 am, on Tuesday.
The trains between Baiyappanahalli and Nayandanahalli will ply till 1 am keeping an eye on IPL match goers’ rush on this stretch.
Even Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will also run additional buses on several routes from Chinnaswamy stadium beyond midnight on Monday, respective press releases said.
Meanwhile, the parking nearby stadium is restricted to some extent and in some parts is completely banned.
However, the newly inaugurated Nayandahalli and MG Road stretch has overwhelmingly welcomed by the commuters.
The Monday morning Namma Metro rush was quite encouraging and expected to keep the pace, Metro commuters hoped so.
