Nearly 3,649 potholes still remain unfilled on city roads

Bengaluru: A whooping 3,649 potholes on roads in the city still remain unfilled.

According to BBMP sources, nearly 6,590 potholes were identified up till the end of October. Among them, 2,871 potholes have been filled but the rest of them remain unfilled.

Sources said that this data was discussed in a meeting chaired by the BBMP Commissioner BH Anil Kumar.

November 10 deadline

BBMP sources also said that Anil Kumar fixed a deadline of November 10 to fill all these potholes. He further warned of taking disciplinary action if authorities failed to adhere to the deadline.
