Bengaluru: Newly elected Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, son of PWD minister H D Revanna and grandson of H D Devegowda, attributed his win to Congress leader Siddaramaiah.
Prajwal met the senior Congress leader on Friday, May 24 evening, at his residence and sought his blessings.
He spoke to Siddaramaiah for over 30 minutes and if sources in the JDS are to be believed, the latter gave him a talk on serving poor, his responsibilities at the Parliament and how to participate in the parliamentary proceedings.
It can be recalled that in Hassan, Siddaramaiah had campaigned extensively for Prajwal Revanna, the JDS-Congress alliance candidate.
