Bengaluru: On Tuesday November 30, the Transport Department has issued a notification to begin Bharat (BH) series registration for new vehicles.

The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) issued a notification on the BH series on August 26 that took effect on September 15. However, the Transport Department postponed its implementation.

The department informed that MORTH has issued a notification to further revise the Central Motor Vehicle Rules for registration of non-transportation vehicles under the BH series and as a result, permission is granted.
