Bengaluru: A newly-wed couple died after a speeding lorry hit their bike at B Naranayanpura near Mahadevapura on Sunday evening.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Obul Reddy, a civil engineer by profession and his wife 24-year-old Uma Reddy, a software engineer.
Reportedly Obul Reddy and his wife Uma Reddy were run over by a lorry. They were on their way to a relative’s place in Marathahalli when the accident occurred.
The lorry, which was coming from Andhra Pradesh, hit their bike and ran over them. The bodies of the couple were unrecognisable due to the impact of the accident.
The two were married just 22 days ago, they were residents of Banaswadi.
