Bengaluru: Nidumamidi seer Veerabhadra Channamalla Swamiji has criticised Vachanananda Swamiji for his behaviour with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa during a public event on Tuesday, January 14.
It can be recalled that on Tuesday, during a Harihara Veerashaiva-Panchamasali mutt event, Veerashaiva Panchamasali seer Vachananda had openly told BSY that the Panchamasali society will withdraw its support if he does not include at least three from the sect into his cabinet. He specifically made a reference to BJP leader Murugesh Nirani.
Following this, an irked BSY rose from his seat on stage and threatened to leave if the seer continued to pressurise him.
Reacting to the incident, the Nidumamidi seer said that it is unbecoming of seers to display arrogance and use threatening tactics
