Nigerian held for selling cocaine

Bengaluru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested a Nigerian national for selling cocaine near CPRI bus stop on CV Raman Main Road in Sadashivanagar police station limits.

The CCB police have identified the arrested person as Tony Micheal Masog (31), residing at Maruthinagar, Yelahanka. The police said the arrested person had a business visa valid till January 26, 2017. The police have seized 10 gms of cocaine, Rs 1,500 cash, two mobile phones and one weighing machine from the arrested persons.

The police said the arrested person has confessed to crime during the interrogation and also told the police that he was getting cocaine in large quantity from Monday, a Cameroon national, residing at T C Palya in Bengaluru. He told the police that he was selling cocaine in small quantities to people.

A case has been registered at Sadashivanagar police station under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
