Bengaluru: The state capital, which was under lockdown over a week, finally came out of the same on Wednesday 5 am.
On Tuesday evening, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announced that there will be no further lockdowns in the state, including Bengaluru, which has been seeing massive spike in Corona cases.
With this, the new guidelines for the limited restrictions have been released, which will be applicable in Bengaluru Urban, Bengluru Rural and the BBMP limits, said Chief Secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar.
The highlights
*The night curfew will continue. However, the timings have been changed. The clamp down that used to start at 8 pm will now start from 9 pm and remain in place till 5 am.
*The Sunday lockdown to continue as it is.
*Markets to be shifted to APMC yards or other larger spaces to avoid crowding. This has to be done not just in Bengaluru, but in every district and Taluk levels.
*Gym/exercise equipment and seating arrangements in Parks cannot be used.
*Prohibition on large gathering continue. Restrictions continue in containment, sealdown spots. The district administration will have to release new guidelines, failing which these rules will be in place till July 31.
