Bengaluru: Basavangudi police has served a notice to the administrative staff of Doddaganesha Temple in the City citing noise due to the ringing of the bells here.
The police has directed the temple to stop using amplifiers as it is causing noise pollution. The notice issued by the police warns of action against temple administrative staff as per provisions of the Noise Pollution (Regulation & Control) Rules, 2000 if they fail to follow the instructions in the notice.
The Doddaganesha Temple is one of the oldest temples situated in Bengaluru City and is dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
