Bengaluru: CM HD Kumaraswamy is irked by a certain section of media for trying to create confusion by splashing reports about his resignation.
Reports of HDK going on a three-month leave owing to health reasons and possibilities of him stepping down soon after the leave have been making rounds.
However, the CM took to Twitter to clarify that these are mere rumours.
“The news on some TV news channels that I’m resigning because of illness is far from the truth, and all the material being broadcast is unfounded, ” read his tweet.
There have been many instances in recent times where HDK lost his cool over reporters. On Nov 22, he said that he would not address the press for any reason, as he felt that the media had misconstrued his remark on a farmer woman recently.
