Now city police search for an inspector in Rs.26 lakh robbery case

Bengaluru: On August 24, the city police had arrested a sub-inspector and a journalist for kidnapping and extorting Rs. 26 lakhs from an arecanut vendor. Now the city police are in search of an inspector who took Rs. 8 lakh from the PSI Jeevan Kumar in this case.

The name of the inspector is now withheld as an investigation is on and a special police team formed to arrest him.

SJ Park station sub-inspector Jeevan Kumar, 31 was arrested in this case. However, now police investigation revealed that a police inspector also took his share in this robbery. Now the police are in search of him.

City police commissioner Kamal Panth informed that the inspector is now suspended and police are in search of him.
