Bengaluru: The number of micro-containment zones that reduced to below 90 has once again begun to rise in the city.
BBMP has announced 103 micro-containment zones in various parts of the city, on September 1. This suggests that the infection is spreading as people drop their guard. According to reports, the number of cases has been increasing in Mahadevapura and East zones on a daily basis.
The spike in cases in these regions are noted to be due to interstate travel history. BBMP officials have stated that the containment zones could be the influx of people coming from the neighboring states. They also added that the situation is not alarming but people should still remain cautious.
