Bengaluru: Tensions over property erupted tragically in Chamarajpet as nurse Somini Satyabhama (49) fell victim to a horrifying murder at the hands of her relatives. The incident, which unfolded on the evening of June 11 at Windsor Manor Service Road, shook the community as details of the heinous crime came to light.

The accused, identified as Sagar, Akash, Shivshankar, Praveen, Pooja, and Gayatri, have been apprehended in connection with the case. Reports reveal that Sagar and Akash launched a brutal attack on Satyabhama, resulting in her untimely demise before fleeing the scene. Satyabhama’s son, Anilkumar, filed a complaint with the police leading to the swift apprehension of the culprits.

Satyabhama and Shivshankar, her elder sister, were embroiled in a longstanding dispute over inherited property in Chamarajpet, with numerous houses under rental agreements adding to the tension. Sources suggest that Shivshankar, reportedly orchestrating the sinister plot to eliminate his younger sibling, instructed his sons to carry out the fatal attack. An accomplice, Akash, is said to have collaborated in this tragic scheme, according to police statements.

Tragically, the confrontation escalated on the service road after Satyabhama’s shift at ITC Windsormanor Hotel, culminating in a gruesome assault that claimed her life. Sagar’s ferocious machete strikes and Akash’s stabbing inflicted fatal injuries on the victim before the perpetrators made their escape, leaving a trail of devastation in their wake.
