Bengaluru: Noting that mobile phones are a distraction, as officials are often found to be preoccupied with their mobiles Chief Minister Kumaraswamy has banned use of mobile phones, in the meetings conducted by him with various government departmental heads.
As per the circular released by Chief Minister’s Office on May 1, officials have been instructed not to carry their mobiles phones into the meeting room while attending a meeting with the CM.
“Officials have been instructed to surrender their mobile phones before the meeting and pick them later”, read the circular.
