Bengaluru: If the latest incident of molestation allegedly took place during the New Year celebrations and reported belatedly is any indication, it seems there is no end for molestation cases in the city.
According to reliable sources, the alleged incident took place at Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association premises during the New Year celebrations. It is alleged that 15 people had misbehaved with the wife of an Assistant Commissioner, Commercial Tax Department during the New Year celebrations. It is believed that perverts had compelled the Assistant Commissioner’s wife to pose for a selfie with them while her husband and brother had gone to get food at the food counter. The sources said the perverts had misbehaved with her when she refused to pose for a selfie with them. However, they escaped after they saw the officer approaching them.
It is said the entire incident was captured on CCTV. The Cubbon Park police have arrested Shivaraju, a driver, in this connection. They have launched a manhunt to nab the others.
