Bengaluru: The CBI sleuths who struck the residence and other properties belonging to KPCC DK Shivakumar, on Monday morning had reportedly seized jewellry that was meant for DKShi’s daughter Aishwarya’s wedding.
The issue was reportedly revealed by DKShi to Pattanayakanahalli Spatikapuri Mahasamsthana seer Nanjavadhoota Swamiji, who met the former minister at his residence.
It is said that DKShi was hurt by the fact that the ornaments that were kept ready at home for his daughter’s wedding were all taken away, despite the family members submitting documents for the same.
The Congress has been alleging that the raids on DKShi have been politically motivated and the BJP has been justifying the raids saying that DKShi has been under radar for money laundering case and the latest raid is only a continuation of the probe.
It may be recalled that DKShi’s daughter Aishwarya was engaged to Cafe Coffee Day proprietor Late VG Siddhartha’s son Amartya a few months ago, in a private ceremony at DKShi’s residence in Bengaluru. The wedding too is slated to be held soon, say sources.
