Bengaluru: In a big relief to the lakhs of school teachers serving in the private unaided schools, the State Government has decided to give Rs. 5000 monetary support. Rs.103 crores have been released for this purpose.
Teachers and non-teaching staff working in the 22,0655 private unaided schools will be benefited by this government decision.
According to the sources, the amount will be paid under the RTE reimbursement.
It can be recalled that following the Covid – 19 outbreak, private school teachers are facing a number of challenges. Hundreds of schools sacked thousands of teachers citing parents are not paying fees.
