Bengaluru: As part of the Visit My Mosque day, over 400 people visited the Modi mosque in Tasker town of the city on Sunday.
This initiative was taken up by the Rahmath group, a charitable trust as part of their efforts to bring Muslims and other religions together besides helping them to understand Islam and the culture of the Muslims.
Even though it was assumed that around 170 people may visit, more people turned up and visited the mosque. They are happy with the new initiative and praised the organisers for their new experiment toward building a new India.
It can be recalled that such initiatives are very popular in western countries.
Writer Amarinder Singh Sandhu was one of the visitors. He heaped praises on the event organisers
