Bengaluru: According to the State Health Department, more than 90 per cent of the eligible beneficiaries in the State have received at least first dose of Covid – 19 vaccination, with more than 857,000 doses provided on November 24.
The State’s vaccine coverage was the third highest in the country on Wednesday November 24 after Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

According to the portal data, as of 10.00 pm on November 24, Karnataka’s cumulative vaccination coverage had reached 71,773,178 since the Statewide vaccination drive began on January 16. The total coverage for the first dose was 4,40,26,923, whereas the figures for second dose was 2,77,46,255.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) reported on Thursday that a total of 9,027,638 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours bringing the total vaccination coverage to more than 1.19 billion. Karnataka accounted for roughly 9.5 per cent of total doses administered over this time period.
