Bengaluru: The recent T20 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teams at Chinnaswamy Stadium here on April 25 had the audiences at the edge of their seats as the visitors chased down the massive score set by the home team in style. However it was not only the audience who had a gala time at the venue as bike thieves used the opportunity to make away with over ten parked bikes.
The complainant Narendrababu said, “When I came after the RCB innings, I didn’t find my bike. A Royal Enfield was parked in the same space. But when I came back at the spot after searching for my bike for nearly half an hour, the Enfield bike too was missing.”
According to senior police officials, they are still to find any hints about the bike thieves. Meanwhile security has been tightened for Sunday’s (today) match.
