Bengaluru: Parvathamma Rajkumar, a producer and wife of legendary late Kannada actor Rajkumar, has been admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital, Bengaluru on Monday midnight, March 7 owing to health related issues.
Reportedly, Parvathamma who is suffering from diabetes and low blood pressure was rushed to the hospital after she almost fell unconscious. She is kept in the intensity care unit and the preliminary check-ups conducted by the hospital indicate that her condition is stable.
She will be required to stay in the hospital for next two days for treatment.
Aged 77 Parvathamma, a recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, embarked on her journey as a film producer with the movie Trimurthi wherefter she has successfully produced over 70 movies under the banner of Vajreshwari Combines and Poornima Enterprises. Kaviratna Kalidasa, Jeevana Chaitra, Om and Janumadi Jodi are a few movies that have done remarkably well.
Most of the movies produced by her banner starred her husband late Rajkumar or her children – Shivaraj Kumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar.
