Bengaluru: Union Minister for Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar, who is also the Bharatiya Jayanata Party’s (BJP’s) poll in-charge for Karnataka, on Monday said that people of Karnataka were waiting to throw out the Siddaramaiah government and give their mandate to the BJP in the next Assembly elections.
Javadekar, who reviewed the party’s poll preparations by holding a meeting with the core committee, political affairs committee and senior party leaders, told reporters: “I’m confident that this anti-farmer, anti-people and anti-democratic government will be thrown out lock, stock and barrel.”
He said the party had a concrete action plan. He was accompanied by Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal, who is also the party’s co in-charge for Karnataka polls.
