Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Vijaya Sankalp rally at the palace grounds in the city today at 5.30 PM. Former DCM R Ashok will be coordinating the event and over two lakh people are expected to be in attendance.
As many as 35 leaders including former CM B S Yeddyurappa and B Sriramulu will share the dais with the PM
Ashok has informed that the PM will arrive in Bengaluru after finishing his Mangaluru event. An eight-foot stage has been built to ensure that PM Modi can be seen even from a distance of half a kilometre. Ten digital screens have been installed to ensure that everyone can hear and see the PM’s speech without any technical glitches.
Around 40,000 chairs have been arranged and 40 buses will bring the party’s activists from each Assembly constituency of the four Lok Sabha constituencies in Bengaluru and Bengaluru Rural.
Ashok also informed that 11,000 people have already registered their names online for the event.
According to sources, 3,000 police personnel will have been deployed to ensure the security at the event.
