Bengaluru: The cyber crime police have arrested two students – both minors – for circulating the fake II PUC final examination question paper.

Both the youth are from the Yadagiri district.

Two days before the Kannada language examination was scheduled to be held, on March 14, the two minors downloaded the previous year’s (2018) question paper, changed the year and circulated it on social media. The next day, the fake question paper went viral, creating confusion among the students who were going to answer the examination.

The Department of Pre University Education had lodged a complaint with the cyber police in this regard.

During the investigation, the police detected the source of the question paper and have now arrested both the students. As they are minors, they have been sent to a children’s home in the city.
