Bengaluru: Members of the Praja Vimochana Chaluvali (PVC) staged a protest against IAS officer Kapil Mohan front of Town Hall in Bengaluru on Tuesday, demanding that he be dismissed from service.
Earlier, IAS officer Kapil Mohan and his father were charged by sleuths of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Income Tax sleuths yielding Rs. 4.37 crore in cash, 2.5 kg of gold and 34 carat diamonds, recently.
They recovered a huge cache of cash, gold and diamonds apart from a laptop and a hard disk. Based on the information in the hard disk, IT searches were conducted at 13 premises in Delhi and Chandigarh, sources confirmed.
