Bengaluru: It is official that Prajwal Revanna, son of State Minister H D Revanna, will contest from Hassan constituency for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The announcement was made by Janata Dal (S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda himself.
Deve Gowda made this announcement in a party workers’ meeting held at Mudalahippe village in Holenarsipur taluk.
Speaking at the meeting, an emotional Gowda said, “I want you to bless him to win this election.” Prajwal was seen wiping his grandfather’s tears as the former prime minister broke down while addressing the gathering.
“I have brought many people into politics and supported them. But, I don’t know why do they find fault with me for bringing my family members into politics,” Gowda added.
Another grandson of HDD, Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of H D Kumaraswamy, will contest from Mandya constituency.
