Bengaluru: In a big embarrassment to the ruling BJP party, the CID which is investigating the allegations of malpractices in the Police Sub Inspector (PSI) examination, raided a school run by a BJP leader in Kalaburagi. Interestingly, State Home Minister Araga Jnanendra visited her house recently.
The State Police Department had carried out the recruitment of 545 PSIs. There are allegations of malpractices in the recruitment.
According to the sources, police raided the house of Divya Hagaragi, owner of the Divyajyothi school where the PSI entrance test was held. Four candidates and three teachers have already been arrested.
Police launched a search to find out Divya who is absconding since the CID investigation was launched.
Meanwhile, pictures of Home Minister Araga Jnanendra visiting Divya’s house went viral on social media.
