Bengaluru: The High Court on Thursday May 19 issued emergent notices to the State and Deputy Superintendent of Police Narasimha Murthy under Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Recruitment Scam case.

Rachana Hanmant and Jagruth S., the toppers in the recruitment exams had gone to the HC earlier this month following their name in the second FIR filed in Bengaluru.

The advocate, who appeared for the petitioners, argued that the FIR has been registered without any prima facie evidence against the duo and that they were falsely implicated in the case. The duo were part of the protest undertaken opposing the scam earlier.
