PSI scam: CID nabs Maha businessman for sheltering accused

Bengaluru: The State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested Suresh Katgaon (41) from Solapur on charges of sheltering main accused, Divya Hagaragi in the police sub-inspector (PSI) recruitment exam scam.

He was arrested on the night of Thursday April 28. The CID had obtained an arrest warrant for Hagaragi on April 19 after they were reported to be absconding. Hagaragi, a former BJP leader is the owner and principal of the Jnana Jyothi English School in Kalaburagi.

Police sources said Hagaragi was sheltered by Katgaon after they absconded from Kalaburagi on April 12
