Bengaluru: Following reduction in the number of academic days, the state Pre University Education department has slashed the syllabus of both I and II PUC by 30%.
A circular in this regard was issued by the department director Snehal R, on Wednesday.
According to the circular, subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (CBSE syllabus) remained unchanged, while other subjects will undergo a syllabus reduction to the tune of 30 per cent, based on the suggestion made by the text book review committee.
This reduction will be applicable only for the academic year 2020-21.
It can be recalled that PU department is holding pre-recorded viode classes now due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
