Mysuru: Prominent regional news channel, Public TV Editor-in-Chief Ranganath’s mother Leela Ramakrishnaiah passed away, here on Saturday, March 16, at the age of 86.
She was suffering from age-related ailments, for which she was admitted to a private hospital in the district.
According to the doctors, she breathed her last on Saturday after failing to respond to treatment.
She is survived by three sons and five daughters.
Her last rites were performed at 9 in the morning on Sunday, March 17 at Harishchandra Ghat, near Chamundi Hills.
Bharatiya Janata Party State President B S Yeddyurappa has expressed his condolences towards the family.
