Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was discharged from the hospital in Malleshwaram on Sunday evening.
Immediately after reaching the home, Siddaramaiah had a surprise caller. It was none other than Rahul Gandhi, All India Congress Committee former chairperson.
It is said that RaGa asked Siddaramaiah to take care of his health and visit New Delhi once he allowed to travel.
According to the sources, RaGa informed Siddaramaiah that party high command is not in a mood to change him from the post of opposition leader. He is said to have also told Siddaramaiah to strengthen the party at the ground-level.
It may be recalled that Siddaramaiah was hospitalized after he complained of chest pain last week.
Siddaramaiah who underwent Angioplasty in the hospital following complications in the blood supply to the heart has been advised against attending any rally or public events. He has been asked to take rest for the next ten days.
