Magadi: Former prime minister H D Deve Gowda came down heavily upon Congress President Rahul Gandhi, who is criticising JDS continuously in his third visit to the state and mocked that the AICC President is unaware of political history.
“There is a need to introspect about the condition of the Congress party before criticising the JDS. He already feels frustrated about another loss. While attacking the JD(S), the Congress is only acting as team B of the BJP. The voters of the state will give an apt answer in elections,” he said adding that if on one hand Sonia Gandhi is making attempts to join hands with the secular forces, speeches of Rahul Gandhi is making him look immature.
“There is no question of joining hands with the BJP and cheat our Muslim members. We will not go to anyone’s doorstep to make H D Kumaraswamy a chief minister,” he added.
JDS State President H D Kumaraswamy said that Rahul Gandhi is like a parrot in CM Siddaramaiah’s cage. “The JDS is a part of Sangha Parivar is a statement of CM Siddaramaiah. Rahul just repeated it,” said HDK.
Siddaramaiah is intentionally criticising JDS as he wants to keep JDS away from joining hands with the Congress. He wants to avoid Parameshwar, Kharge and others to become possible chief ministers in such situations, Kumaraswamy added.
