Bengaluru: Advisor to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, K. Raju met with Opposition leader Siddaramaiah at his residence on Sunday February 6.
“It was a courtesy visit by Raju as he was on a visit to the State,” informed Siddaramaiah. Due to differences between Siddaramaiah’s factions and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar’s factions in the State Congress unit, his visit is significant. He also said that Raju was the In-Charge of Congress’ digital enrollment and had visited the State, “It was a courtesy call,” he said.
In response to a question about MLC C. M. Ibrahim’s threat to leave the party, Siddaramaiah said that he was still confident that Ibrahim will stay in the party. “I am going to meet him soon,” he added.
