Bengaluru: Heavy downpour along with lightning and thunder were witnessed in several parts of the state, here on Sunday, June 2.
The rains in the “Silicon City” had interrupted the vehicular movement especially in areas such as Lalbagh, Halasuru, Trinity, M G Road and several others.
Similarly, districts like Kalaburgi and Raichur too witnessed heavy rainfall for over 30 minutes. This rain cooled down the rising summer heat. However, inconvenience was caused to the public as the water overflowed on roads. Areas like Shaktinagar, Kavitala experienced more amount of rainfall.
