A 26-year-old man from Rajasthan was brutally murdered by unidentified assailants in Bengaluru, in a shocking late-night incident that has raised concerns over public safety.

Victim attacked by group on deserted road

The incident took place near Balagere Main Road on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Dala Ram, a resident of Diwandi village in Pali district of Rajasthan.

According to police, Dala Ram had arrived in Bengaluru about five days ago to visit relatives and was staying in HSR Layout.

Brutal assault leads to death on the spot

Police said the victim was walking alone when a group of four to five assailants approached him and attacked him with deadly weapons.

Despite attempting to flee after the initial assault, Dala Ram collapsed on the footpath due to severe bleeding and died at the scene before any medical assistance could reach him.

Probe launched to identify attacker

Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace the accused. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being analysed, and investigators are working to establish the motive behind the attack.

Safety concerns raised

The incident has once again highlighted concerns over late-night safety in certain parts of the city. Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious movements to the police.
