Bengaluru: After Kanakapura and Chickpet, now it is the turn of Ramanagagar vendors to announce voluntary shutdown of their business due to raising Covid 19 cases.
Till June 30, all the shops except essential services will remain shut in the town.
According to a decision taken by the Ramananagar vendors forum members, all the non-essential service providers and goods shops will not open till June 30.
“The idea is to contain the spread of the Covid 19,” informed members of the Forum, after communicating their decision to the district administration.
Meanwhile, vendors of Hosakote and Nelamangala area too will hold a meeting on Wednesday evening to decision on voluntary shutdown of businesses.
All these towns are close to Bengaluru, which has been witnessing a consistent spike in cases of Covid-19.
