Ramanagar: The situation of the BJP in Ramanagara constituency is only getting critical. After Chandrashekar, BJP’s candidate for bypolls retired from the polls merely few days before the polls, it is now learnt that BJP District President Rudresh too has decided to resign from his post.

The BJP was left red faced after its candidate backed out from the elections citing lack of willingness from party leaders to campaign for him as the reason.

However, it was later said that minister DK Shivakumar had played a major role in the last minute decision of Chandrashekar, who was once a part of the Congress party.

Close on the heels of this ‘reverse operation Kamala’, it is believed that Rudresh is going to step down from his position on moral grounds.

Rudresh was given the responsibility of the constituency, but the situation that cropped up even before the elections has led to this decision of Rudresh, it is learnt.
