Bengaluru: After witnessing two days of protests and a bandh, Ramanagara (the native district of arrested Congress leader DK Shivakumar) has returned to normalcy. The situation in Kanakapura has also become normal.

According to KSRTC authorities, bus services have been restored across the district. There have been no incidents of stone-pelting or any other violent activities.

As Ramanagara city limped back to normalcy, the Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway was reopened to traffic, and government offices were functional as well.

However, the police continue to maintain a tight security operation across the district.
