Bengaluru: Re-polling in three polling centres began today, May 14, as per the announcement of the Karnataka State Election Commission on Sunday. Polling began at 7 am and will continue till 6 pm.

One of the polling stations is located in Bengaluru’s Hebbal, polling station No 2 at Gandhi Vidyalaya, Kannada and Tamil Primary School, Lottegollahalli, where 1444 voters will be voting. The EVMs for this station had malfunctioned on May 12 following which the Election Commission (EC) decided that re-polling should be conducted.

Owing to an erroneous voters’ list, two polling stations at Koppal’s Kushtagi are having their re-polls. According to the EC, 275 voters were listed in the wrong polling stations and as a result, they voted at the wrong booths. The problem it seems was only with the master roll and not the supplementary list.
