Bengaluru: Amid a surge in the Covid – 19 cases, the state has set a new record in Covid – 19 vaccination. On Monday a record number of 1.93 lakh people got Covid 19 vaccine.
1.08 lakh persons in the age group of 45-59 years took jab. 76,784 persons above 60 years also took the jab. Rest of those who took jab are Covid – 19 warriors.
Those who took the first jab also now turning up in a large number to take the second jab.
Meanwhile, on Monday evening the state received 15 lakh doses of Covid -19 vaccines. This put a full stop to the fear of vaccine shortage in the state hospitals.
