Bengaluru: An ASI and police constable died on the spot after the police vehicle in which they were travelling hit a tree around 3 am today in Siddanakoppalu gate in KR Nagar taluk of Mysuru.
Deceased are ASI Murthy (45) and head constable Santakumar (40).
The incident happened when they were on night patrolling.
According to the sources, they were returning from Saligrama to KR Nagar. Senior police officials rushed to the spot.
The bodies have been sent to KR Nagar hospital for the postmortem.
