The student is identified as Rajesh Reddy. The 22-year-old boy who was previously booked for drunken driving in which one person died has now been charged in a new case of road rage.

Reportedly Rajesh was driving his BMW last week when it was allegedly hit by another car.

He, then snatched the keys of the other car, an Etios, from its driver, and took off with that car, driving it rashly to ensure it was damaged, said the police.

He had been arrested and then was granted bail.

In 2013, Rajesh was allegedly driving drunk and speeding in his Audi when he hit an auto. One person died. CCTV footage of that accident had outraged the city because it showed how rashly he was driving.

Rajesh father is said to be an industrialist.
